Fly Tying Tools. Bobbin Holders are used to hols thread and keep tension when tying flies.
To thread a bobbin you need a bobbin threader. Simply insert the wire from the threader through the hole of the bobbin and pass the thread through the wire loop. Pull out the threader and the bobbin is ready to use. When using wax threads the bobbin holder can get clogged. Using the bobbin cleaner removes the wax build up.

Fly Tying Tools. A dubbing spinner is used to create tight dubbing that is ideal for nymph trout patterns and salmon flies. Once dubbing is applied use a dubbing needle to pick out the fibres in a specifis area. This is an ideal method for creating thorax areas on nymphs.

Fly Tying Tools. A hackle on a fly can either create bouancy as in a dry fly or movement in the water as in a wet fly. To create a neat hackled fly, hackle pliers are used to wrap the hackle around the fly.

Wing Burners and cutters are used to shape feathers to give an accurate representation of fly wings.

Whip finish tools are used in fly tying to tie off the thead and form a neat head on a fly pattern.

Pin on reels are not only usefull when fly fishing for attaching tools but also can be used when fly tying. Attaching your tying tools to the pin on reels can speed up the tying process.
