Gavin Hurst Hand Tied Flies
Gavin Hurst is the 4th of our custom fly tyers to the CudaFly stable. Gavin has been saltwater fly fishing for many years and is based in the North East of England. As ever all flies are tied to the highest quality and are hand tied by Gavin personally. Gavin writes about his flies :- "I have been fly fishing and fly tying since my early teens in both freshwater and saltwater environments and I'm constantly looking for new materials and designs for the flies that I tie. My passion for creating flies that are naturalistic or just effective fish catchers has lead to invitations to give demonstrations at the British Fly Fair International on several occasions and I also regularly collaborate with angling guides and instructors in the UK and abroad to bring as much realism to my saltwater fly designs as possible."

To have your favourite fly pattern tied by one of the CudaFly tyers simply fill in the form below with your requirements. The price for these flies will be emailed to you before any tying commences, although prices are generally comparable to custom flies currently on our site. Any fly can be tied however please give as much detail as possible to ensure we meet your pattern requirements. We ask for your telephone number such that we can contact you regarding availability, price and to confirm all aspects of your custom fly. Please be aware that each fly has a minimum order of 5 flies per pattern. On average flies will be received with 2 weeks however please allow time for difficult materials to be sourced. No payment is required until your flies are complete, at which stage they will be put on the site ready for you to purchase.
