I Fish this fly the same as any other nymph, but what I like about it is that the bead is very much the same as peacock herl and therefore creates a more natural look to the nymph. Since the bead is also lighter that a gold or silver bead it allows you to fish the fly at the same depth throughout the retrieve.

Meurig Parsons is the second of our custom fly tyers to the CudaFly stable. Meurig lives in Somerset and ties excellent lures for both trout and bass fly fishing.

"I was born in Aberystwyth and brought up in a small village called Llanilar just a few miles south west of Aberystwyth, this is where I learn't the art of fishing and fly tying on the river Ystwyth with help from my father. Now I live in Somerset and fish for Bass and trout all on the fly.
